- Two (2) Full-Time System Administrator: M-F 07:00 - 15:00 ET
- One (1) Full-Time System Administrator: M,R,F,S,S 23:00 - 07:00 ET
- One (1) Full-Time Abuse Administrator: M-F 09:00 - 17:00 ET
What is a Site5 systems administrator career like?
The successful candidates for this job will demonstrate exceptional customer service and troubleshooting skills. You must be very patient and have the ability to listen and generate technically sound solutions on the fly.
Duties for this position include:
- Troubleshooting client issues via our email tracking system.
- Monitoring and correcting server related issues.
- Provision and tweak new/existing servers.
- Performing scheduled maintenance tasks.
Skills:
- Extensive Linux background (2+ years experience).
- Extensive experience with cPanel (2+ years experience).
- Experience troubleshooting hardware.
- Experience troubleshooting software.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent phone and email manners.
- Exceptionally well organized.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to easily create and manipulate Word/Excel documents.
Languages:
- Fluent in English (written and oral).
- Strong grammar and spelling skills are required.
The abovementioned positions are full-time (40 hours per week). Compensation is dependant on previous experience. The successful candidate will be paid as a W2 (IRS employee status). The positions are remote (work from home). You must have your own computer as well as a very reliable high speed / broadband internet connection.
