Matt Lightner and Rod Armstrong
The Founders
Matt Lightner and Rod Armstrong founded Site5 in 1999 and have been working intimately with the company since that time. Matt and Rod built the company on the philosophy that web hosting should be easy, fun, accessible, reliable and generally not painful to use. The founders held the positions of CEO and President respectively until 2007, when they decided to allow a new team of extremely eager and talented professionals handle the reigns of the operations so that they could work on more specific projects and areas for Site5. Matt and Rod passed the reigns of Site5 onto Ben and Joel in October 2008.
